How many wine makers do we have here?

:thumbsup

What kind of wine do you make?

I have never made any but it sounds like fun to me. I love doing things like that. I plan to learn a lot from you guys. :) My brother-in-law does make wine. I believe he makes all kinds, elderberry is one. Also a niece makes it. Great thread!

Wine making is so much fun. To be able to taste wine that you made is exciting. I am partial to my own wine as I think it's the BEST ever in the whole wide world. And you can literally spend pennies compared to buying wine in the store. In some cases, you can spend about $12.00 and can make 5 gallons of wine. I don't know where you can go and buy a gallon of wine for a little over $2.00. You can't beat that. And you make the wine for your own taste. I prefer VERY sweet wine, so I add more sugar to get it to the level of sweetness that I need.

That pineapple wine sounds good.

I sampled my wine from the recipe that I saw the 2 ladies on You Tube making. It's ok. The alcohol volume was only 5%. I only made 1 gallon. The other 4 gallons are in my carboy fermenting. I think that ABV is higher than 5%. It's more of a weak wine cooler.
