Parront
Crossing the Road
Yes, 1/2 of Dylan's poop each day goes in the toilet. So, her night cage is easy, just vacuum out the feathers shed at night, no poop in there for several months. There remains plenty of poop to decorate her daytime cage! She has hobbies: shredding paper and wicker baskets, chewing pickle balls to crumbs and destroying pinecones to name a few. She likes to "chew" her pellet food, wasting about 1/2 on the floor and the bottom of the cage. She has a room of her own, in which we just replaced the carpet with vinyl. This sounds like a question for @Parront ! If I remember correctly, her parrot is potty trained...
Parrots are a great pet if you are retired, I love spending time in our bird room. (Also known as an Arizona room or a sun room) I have my computer in there, and dust about once a week when I start having trouble seeing the screen! You need a high tolerance for mess if you have a bird of any kind.
