Hello Friends!
I'm exploring the idea of branching out into new bird species. We currently have 9 chickens in a coop/run and 3 turkeys in another coop/run. I'm planning on getting a larger coop in the spring for the chickens, which means I will have a coop/run available. I have 2 ducks who live with my chickens and I was going to make that a duck coop/run but I might move in a different direction. My experience with Waterfowl has been tumultuous, to put it lightly. The water situation is difficult and messy, especially in the winter months. Do you have any suggestions for another bird species? I was thinking maybe peacocks or quail or pheasants. Guineas were on the top of the list, until I heard how loud they were. My neighbors have already made it clear they didn't like my roosters. Let me know your thoughts. Thank you!

I would say guineas but your neighbors don’t like it, hey my neighbors don’t either but their dogs wake me up at 3 am barking so if your neighbors dogs do the same I don’t think it matters. Honestly pheasants are cool and you could put both pheasants and peafowl in together, other birds are chukar, pigeons, dove, and grouse
