How much charcoal to medicate my hens?

Ok. I'll try that. Worming Cherry at this time will not be too harsh on her system?

You can always use a slow wormer. You might want to send a PM to Dawg53. He is more knowledgeable than I when it comes to wormers.

By the way- when you say she has green watery poops- are the poops green or the urates?

CMV, so worming at this time won't bee too harsh on Cherry's system?
Today I'll inspect the other's poop for worms.

I think you are going to weigh the risks vs. the benefits. If you are reluctant to worm her without proof of worms then have a fecal test done by a vet. The test is relatively inexpensive and will tell you exactly what her worm load is. You may not be able to see worms in your birds' waste. They are only visible to the naked eye when they are a big problem.

Thank you CMV and Dawg53 for all your help. I am deworming Cherry and the other 4
Peepers today. Using Safeguard Equine dewormer. Pea size for each. Hoping for the best! Right now Cherry is out with the other girls. She hopped around and kept up, now is laying probably tired from all that. She is not eating much, but alert and perked up.

I'll keep posting.

I am guessing you talked to Dawg. I knew he could steer you in the right direction.

Keep us posted.

He's the best. He has earned his recommendations. I am glad he helped you out.

Cherry is still with us. No change. I am taking her out with the other hens to have some fresh air for most of the day she just sits downThey are all slow. They walk around, scratch and then they' come back and take a nap. Then they get up and do their rounds again. At night they go to the coop. cherry sleeps in my basement.

I have been doing some therapy in Cherry's limp leg. She does have some feeling in it because when I stretch it out she shows resistance and I can feel her leg muscles contracting. She also is able to slowly bring it up and scratch her head, and also able to make the same movement as if she scratching the ground for bugs. Her poop is still watery with green chunks.

At what point do I just give up? She is been sick since the 14h or 15th. Have any hens improved after presenting this symptoms? Oh, I still don't see any worms in their poop. This is the third day after deworming.
