How much do you charge for a dozen eggs?

I sell mine 2.00 a dozen and only some of my cheap family members try to tease me about it, to see if I'll come down on my price but I dont budge I tell em hey it cost money to feed my chickens, its not free like alot of non chicken people think. They tease me but they still buy my eggs, lol. Heck yeah, they taste WAY better than nasty store eggs, I never want to have to buy store eggs again, I havent since last Sept. And I always make sure I put back 2 dozen for us, I'm not running out of yummy farm eggs

ooh! ooh! i love finding other east texans. i charge $2/doz if all the eggs are large. that hasn't happened yet, so i'm charing $1.50.

what kind of feed are you buying?

I charge 2.00$ for my large eggs, 2.50$ for my jumbos and my colored eggs i charge 2.75$ this is by the dozen. I do have a few customers that ask for 18 packs, if they want jumbos i sell them for 3.50$ if they want regular size its 3.75$ I do not sell my colored eggs in 18 packs. If the customer furnishes the carton I take off 49 cents from the price. If i have to supply the carton I add 49 cents to the price.

If your local store sells organic eggs for 3.50 a dozen, I think you should sell your eggs for about the same price, you customers know exactly where your eggs come from and know they are fresh, that alone is worth every penny..

I sell mine for 2 bucks/dozen. even 18 packs and my bantam eggs. My customers have to ask for the eggs in advance. they can't come to my door for eggs. I usually sell to my feed store and to people at my dad's work. I'm selling 2 dozen tomarrow.
