I recently switched to Purina Flock Raiser from TSC because I have a rooster right now. It is $26 for a 50 pound bag. Ugh!!!
I remember when feed was cheap.

Try $100+ a month for about a flock of 50, 4 Pekin Ducks, and 5 three month old Heritage Turkeys. Sometimes $130-$140 a month.I have been paying $26.99 for flock raiser at TSC and they eat so much feed it gets expensive. Is this alot for feed? How much do you pay?

"Average" isn't organic feed though. If anyone is curious about this feed, I'll attach pictures, but it sounds like we're paying dern near double the average.
That's quite possible... We're in PA around 20 miles north and west of Philadelphia..."Average" isn't organic feed though.
Your store is marking up the price a bit compared to feed stores in my area (I haven't found a single one that doesn't sell S&P) but if you're not in the Pacific NW, it might be because of shipping costs to your store location.![]()
