I do not. For the moment I'm dialing back on the feed as they are out to pasture all day. I have some Nutrena Naturewise, All Flock/Flock Shield 20% protein, and Kalmbach Duck & Goose pellet with 18% protein and if you have geese it contains 45mg/lb Niacin.Do you mix your own or what do you feed? Thanks!
Did you read the nutrition tag?Well today I bought nutrena feather fixer, is was $23.99 instead of $26.99 so $3 difference. It is 18% and I like the ingredients and feed better. It's a pellet so less waste. Seems better all round and the chickens like it.
I think it has 3%, is that to much for my boy?Did you read the nutrition tag?
I believe FF has 3-4% calcium(which IIIRC you are trying to avoid for your male bird).
On the label it said for hens and roostersI think it has 3%, is that to much for my boy?
I think below 3% is best. Let me go get a picture of the tag I have for my food I give my malesI think it has 3%, is that to much for my boy?
Lord that's pricey, as with everything now.$33 per 50lb. Semi local and organic.
The place I usually get it from gives me a free one every 10. So really $30.
