How much do you pay for layer pellets and from what state.

Until very recently I was paying an average of $7.50 for 50lbs of 18% layer feed. Last month it was over $10. This is from a local mill (central Iowa) and it is a mash.

I paid $13.95 each for the 50 lb bags of McDowell and Walker Milky Way layer pellets at the hardware store in Oxford NY on Fri. The total bill came to around $45 with sales' tax.

I pay 16.90/50# for for Purina Gamebird starter and 16.95/50# for the gamebird Layer. The regular Purina Sunfresh Recipe is 12.95/50 for layer and 13.95/50 for starter in South Mississippi.

I get mine at a feed mill (Good's Feed Mill) for around 8.00 for 50 lbs. in Lancaster, PA. I also augment my feed with chicken scratch (cracked corn and grain) that is about 7.50 for 50 lbs.
