How much do you pay for organic chicken feed?

'cause I'm thinking I'm overpaying. $30.00 pay a bag (50 lb?) of organic laying crumble? What do you pay for organic chicken feed?

I know I am paying too much but don't have a choice locally -- $32 for 50 lbs. And the regular stuff is $14 for 50 lbs. I must really love my chickens.

$30 is good. Around here there isnt much organic feed but there is one place and they give me an employee discount which goes from $37 to $30.

this is probly a dumb question, but have any of you check into getting feed 'made' with organic ingredents, might be cheeper. feed around here runs $12 to $15 /50 for non-organic feed but I have feed 'made' for around $6 to $10 / 100 with local ingredents, might not be organic but I know whats in it and its fresh

Location will make a difference in price. I live in a farming community.

I get mine for $17 for a 50lbs bag. A local farmer mixes his own.

Non -organic feed from the local mill is $11 for 50lbs.
