How much feed?

Hello everyone!
I was wondering how much feed people give to their ducks and how often. I have 4 grown ducks and just got 4 ducklings .

No need to portion it out. They can have free access to feed all day. Just put it in a feeder and they will self regulate how much to eat.

That’s what I’ve been doing, I bring it out in the morning. Wet their food then when I refill their water I just dump out the bowls and put any food left over in other water bowls into the food bowl. ( I hope that makes sense)

I'm wondering why you wet their food. I would worry about it getting moldy. Mine have chow and clean water separately.

I try to keep it adjusted to them that there is very little left when I refill. Since they're always putzing with the water and getting their food damp I throw away what they don't eat daily so it doesn't mold. Mine are usually around one full grain scoop for 13 ducks, 2 geese, and one chicken. They free range all day but they'll be in and out of their run thoughout the day snacking at it.

By the end of the day there is nothing left to get moldy. They are little piggies But I have found that it seems easier for them to eat.

I have medium-weight ducks. My adults get 1 cup per duck per day - 1/3 in the morning, 2/3 in the evening. Ducklings get unlimited feed.
