How much is your electric bill this month?

Ours is always around $200, but there are two big O2 machines running and a nebulizer/compressor. The 'bators don't really make a dent in the bill.

Next month may be high as I plugged in the stock tank heater and my diesel truck engine heater.

For a family of 3 our electric bill was anywhere from $17-$45 per month...until my oldest son moved back in and it jumped to $60!!!!

He moved away, so I expect it will return to normal.

Nope. UNITIL.
Sadly my city doesnt seem to care if we are stuck with the thieves. Lunenburg is completely up in arms about the mess here. And its only he beginning of the winter:rolleyes:

My electric bill during the summer is around $100/150. Only difference is the heat being on in the winter. I told my dh i want solar heat collectors made for next winter. We have plenty of south facing windows in the room we use most this time of the year

We are on billing plan with LIPA (Long Island Power Authority) we pay $234 month. Same in winter as it is in summer.

Little over 205 for the house. We use space heaters because the propane would be much higher and we can not afford to fill the tank up past 200 gallons and any one time. Usually our bill is about 130, so really not bad.

The chicken barn, the horse barn the nursery and the serama coop, well it was about 55 bucks more this month. Had two 250 watt heat lamps and a qaurtz heater going for the young chicks. They are now over 8 weeks old so now only one lamp is going (for the excotics) and the quartz heater is turned down about 5 degrees. Have a water heater going in the barn. The serama coop has a ceramis heater cause the hen is sitting on 7 eggs !!!!

wow I feel pretty good about our electric bill after reading some of y'all's!

Family of 4 - house is 2200 sqft - base board electric heat (and old ones at that - we need to upgrade to newer efficient ones). Running 4 humidifiers, all compact flur. lightbulbs - heated chicken coop, extra fridge in garage, large upright freezer in laundry room, upright space heater we move from room to room if it gets too cold, and electric dryer / electric range:

$210.00 a month on budget billing and we have a credit and havent ever gone over that amount since beginning on the budget in October 2008. This months actual bill was only $185.00 - last months was $140.00.

Summer months we average with 6 window AC units (all Eng. Effic) less than the budget amount above because we werent on the budget last year - we just got on it in October given thats the month it started and we've just been here in August 1 year.

Of course, we did have all new windows put in in February, which helped tremendously....

Our house is around 2500 sq ft w/ THREE heat pumps and 5 people living in it. Our last bill was $194.35 -- with us keeping our thermostats set around 65 degrees. For some reason our December bill is always high.

Ours should be well under $200.00 for about a 3,000 sf house. The highest I've ever had was about $400.00, while living in an old house one hot summer.
