I don't really care if they were wrong or not. Mine was a generalized statement

I give oregano everyday sometimes....no problems and my chickens love it!!

Same! I give my hens a mixture of oregano, echinacea, garlic, turmeric, black pepper and cinnamon, also add chamomile and lavender when I have it. I throw a fistful and mix it into their feed am and pm.
