People be getting so triggered or course my birds get water in the winter yet they still prefer to eat the snow lol and the hens i processed where spent hens. But mine do not get heated bowls they would spill it within seconds
Isn’t this what you said though?
I dont even give mine water in the winter once it snows so.... Im not in alaska though either

This is what I use and have for years. They've never turned it over.

I use a low watt stock tank deicer in my waterer! Doesn’t heat the water just keeps it from icing over. Anything is better then not giving your chickens water in the winter
Yup, that's what these water bowls do too. Doesn't make the water warm, just keeps it from icing.

Now your trolling...none of this is even what op was asking lets keep it on track....
Not trolling just trying to make sense of what you’re saying. You’re telling a person that obviously has chickens for pets that the coop she has is big enough. You said yourself you keep chickens as live stock, so you do things differently. Coop space IS just as important as run space. There is absolutely no argument there. have a good night.

I'm not upset with anyone, and I appreciate the advice. I just think we should consider "alternative facts". The debeaking is an idea I haven't thought of yet, how is that done? can they still peck around and eat bugs after that procedure?

It's done when they are chicks. Part of the beak is amputated, which many people regard and a cruel and inhumane procedure.

Debeaked birds are unlikely to be able to eat in a normal and natural fashion.
