How much should ducks eat?

I guess it's the way you read it and maybe I didn't type enough for a thorough explanation. In the OPs post they mentioned free ranging as if it was supplementing the ducks daily nutrition. But, then they said that the ducks were only out when they could watch them - so my point was if it is not a significant amount of free range time, then I would not consider free ranging with regards to nutrition.

1/2 pound of feed per duck daily should be about right for Campbells. Larger ducks should get more and smaller less naturally. I give my Muscovys about a pound each per day. They clean it up daily and maintain very good condition.
