Exactly because if out most days they don't get enough. I still mix my feed with scratch grain and cracked wheat. About 50% feed and then cut in the scratch and cracked wheat. Sometimes wild bird seed too..Still veggies too..

@Jpat Maybe she can't use the feeder? Or have you ever checked for worms?
I feed mine commercial feed and supplement with fresh veggies and a little bit of fruit. Sometimes i give them mealworms. Especially if they need an incentive to go to their run.

Generally Ducks don't suffer from Parasites. I guess it depends where you live. If the Drake looks good then it's possible he pushes her from the feed.
