Then you shouldnt watch the Survivor show they had on today, they ate fully developed chicks

They ate baby turtles too and something else. EW!
 
I guess that you all know that you can freeze eggs with a bit of salt/sugar to keep them from going pasty. Not too early to think about Christmas baking.

I actually love duck eggs. I think they are tastier than chicken eggs. Too bad you aren't closer to RI, but I hope I will soon be overrun with my own. . .

Refrigerated chicken eggs don't 'go bad' (according to the National Egg Board).
They(an egg) will eventually dehydrate (an egg).
But seriously, an intact egg is a perfect package.
Different people have different ways, but when I take 'fresh eggs' to the market, they are INDEED fresh eggs and 3 days or less old.
