I have no idea how to get the plants out of drain, but when she flushes ur deoderant down the toilet I'll give ya some pointers.

This one I have had to do before...

Take a coat hanger make a small hook to fit though the dividers in the drain. Hook the roots and pull out. Follow with hot soapy water and a plunger to push the remnants through. Works with hair build up too.
