How often do BO hens go broody?

How often do Buff Orpington hens go broody? How about Buff Rocks?

I've got 3 BOs and 1 Buff Rock... They just started laying a week to two weeks ago... I know most places say that BO hens do go broody, but is that after a certain age? and does that decrease with the more free-range time they get? (i may just not wait for one to go broody and incubate some myself... haha)

My rooster also just started mating! I'm looking forward to some homegrown babies!

Geez, how to answer that one? How long is a piece of string?

It boils down to the individual hen. I had a brown Leghorn that loved to go broody and they aren't supposed to at all.

Although the Buff Orps are famous for being good brooders. I bought an older BO hen just for that reason and she hasn't gone broody yet!
