How often do hyline brown hens go broody ?

Silkies are BY FAR the most likely breed to go broody. Although I've got three mixed-breed bantams (half ameraucana, half mille fleur) that will go broody on a single golf ball every time I turn around (I use golfballs to show them where to lay). But silkies as a breed are just known for it. Period.

X 2 on the silkies if you want a broody, another good choice is the cochin. Not all bantams are broody, depends on what breed of bantam it is.

same, mine are 7 year old and never gone broody
