How often do you change the big waterer???

I empty/refill 5 waterers daily or 2 times daily depending on how hot it is. Two are 5 gallons and 3 are two gallons.Besides I find my waterers get low by the time the next morning comes so need refilling anyway.

In the winter time about once a week. In the hot part of the year generally twice a week. The growout pens however I may change every day to two days depending on temperature and the number of birds inside. Rinse well, then refill. Except for the henyard they are all hanging.

Right now I'm changing the 5 gallon waterer about every 2-3 days

If you're dumping the water every couple of days, then don't put so much in it to begin with.

Let them drink it instead of pouring it out.

The whole point of a large waterer is to cut down on the labor​

I agree. What happen if taking vacation a few weeks?
