how often should i order?

So, i am getting 4 quail within a week and I have a 5 lb. bag of food. How long would it last me if it took about 5 days to get to my house?. By the way, I order it for strombergs.

Are you getting day-old quail? My 5 babies are almost a week old and eating about a cup of food a day! Right now, I am grinding it up in the food processor but they are growing super fast! At the rate they are eating, I expect the 5 pound bag I started with to last about a month or less. Luckily, I can buy it super cheap at the feed store here.

My gambels will be 4 weeks old

My adults don't eat that much but they have access to bugs also because they are in a chicken tractor style coop. I probably only go through about a cup every 2 days with the adult birds.

I have a cage with four Coturnix quail. I use a small round chick feeder for them and fill it every other day so I'd say a 5 lb. bag might last you a good month. Just an estimate.
