How often to clean brooder with sand

I spot cleaned and replaced it all weekly. I ended up throwing what was leftover in their run and that's worked really well.

We have sand in our coop and I love it. But I will always use pellets for brooding.

I was planning on using sand in the coop as well, I was just nervous about the chicks eating sand bedding- so it will only be for the big coop and I will stick with pellets for the brooder! I'm glad to hear those work well for you!
