I have the R-Com 20 and it turns the eggs once and hour, is that too much? I work 3 days a week and I work 12-hour shifts, so I can't manually make the machine turn less, so was wondering if that many times a day is bad.

I've never used an R-Com 20...Hope someone sees this that can answer your question.......

any body know how often you should turn your eggs?

eggs should be turned 2-3 times a day. I turn mine 2 times a day, morning and evening, it keeps the chicks from sticking to the shell. Hope this helped

Is turning once an hour to much then?

I think it would be better for you to hand turn them 2x's a day than 24 times a day with automatic turner that you have.

HI!
I'm not familiar with the rcom, but I don't think it physically 'turns the eggs over once an hour', but just shifts them a bit every hour. I've never seen that incubator, so I'm just guessing.
I don't think they need additional turning.

Good luck!
Lisa

I've read that you should turn your eggs at least 4-6 times a day. This helps them to not stick to the inside of the shell.

unless it is malfunctioning or adjustable it was designed that way and im sure someone has hatched eggs with it in the past,so I wouldnt worry about it
