how old are my chickens?

If you cannot have roosters where you live, I agree on seeing you can swap them back to the seller. You are going to get very, very eggs from that bunch.
At 8 to 10 weeks, a pullet generally has no wattles and a yellower comb. These larger, red combs and red wattles already sprouting scream cockerel. Look for the least developed combs and wattles on a similar aged chick.

sorry but i agree that they r roosters and r around 6 or 8 weeks

Thanks for the follow up. Judging by the pics, the red looked like a too to me, too. Glad to hear she was a female!

How old do you think this little lady is?
400

It appears from her pale comb and wattles, she must be short of point of lay still. So, maybe around sixteen weeks, plus or minus two weeks.
Thank you. I was told they were anywhere between 16 and 18 weeks when i got them 2 weeks ago. This one has been making lots of noise lately and checking out the nesting areas.

You'll know the eggs will begin to come soon when her comb turns bright red, and when you reach down with your hand hovering over her back, she may squat while her shoulders are slightly raised and rigid. She'll appreciate a little scratch between her shoulders, then a gentle pat on the bottom. She should then shake and rearrange her feathers while feeling a flush of satisfaction. Look for some blue or green eggs a week from then.

They all seem to like being scratched but no one is squatting that I can tell. I have a video of of them but I cannot get it uploaded. I thought black sex-links were brown egg layers.
