She is not laying and I wouldn’t expect an egg for another week since I think she is still acclimating. I introduced them this week after a week isolation period. My original flock had their first face to face yesterday.

Ok, because a 12-20 week old hen is probably not laying at all yet. I've had plenty of roosters crow really young and have developed crows by 12 weeks, but never an egg.

She’s still a pullet, then. Watch for any interest in the nest boxes.

Collect her first eggs, because pullet eggs run small and may have low fertility. Try to have her lay eggs for a couple months before allowing her to go broody.

It sounds to me like maybe they're older than you were told, but not meaningfully so. Maybe a month or two. If she's not laying she's still quite young and that's usually what matters most of all.

Great info! I will make sure she has all the kinks out before I give her anything to sit on (if she ever goes broody).
I was told that they can go broody and some never do.
as long as she has eggs in her future and he Is old enough to be viable. Those are my main concerns.

I really love his attitude already. He just needs to warm uo to me. He is definitely a self blue male. But how old does he look. Sold to me as “Around 12 weeks.”
The breeder tells me he is coming to be fully feathered. I hope his plumage grows out a little more. He is already a good crow watchful eye for my flock. I just wonder if he is really that young. He seems a bit older to me.

I agree he's got to be older than 12 weeks i would say 18-20wks looks like he is about the same age as mine he is 19wks
