How old do you think Little Dude is?

Okay! I picked Little Dude and his siblings at the hatchery on April 19th, so he just turned 22 weeks old. His growth is stunted a bit and I have no idea why, but he seems healthy despite it. Well, I have an idea because when they were still in the brooder, I had a fight with coccidiosis ( no losses ).

Funnily enough, he just recently started to make ‘big chicken’ noises rather than cheeping. Here’s some more pictures of him ( and next to his siblings that are the same age ) because he’s my special little boy who will jump up on anyone’s shoulders if you stand still long enough anywhere near him. It’s a bad habit to let him have but how can you say no to that face!

Yeah, that’s kind of why I thought about making this poll. Idk if he’d be considered a failure to thrive or just a slow grower. He has nothing wrong with him other than he’s behind his broodermates & siblings in terms of growth. His tail finally started to grow in, he did have a stump for the longest time

He looks pretty good though, all things considered. Hopefully he will keep growing and keep getting stronger.

Oh, I know, that’s why I named him Little Dude. He’s smaller than his other SS siblings
