How old until I can give my ducklings treats?

I just got either mallards or rouens from TSC...

They are a few days old, and I was wondering how much longer I have to wait until I give them treats?

I start giving my ducklings treats when they are 2 or 3 days old. At that age, some good things to feed them are tiny bits of lettuce, spinach, or grass. I also like to mix plain yogurt, chopped spinach, and crushed Cheerios together and feed it to the ducklings. They go crazy for it.

I'm wondering if ducklings need grit, like my chickens?
