How old were your chicks when they laid their first egg?

How old were your girls when they layed their first egg? I have a flock of 7 that are 24 months old. We are waiting patiently for our first egg! Curious how old yours were, and what time of year was the first egg? Thanks.

My girls were five to six months old when they started laying . They had developed fluffy butt the month before, but did not produce anything but poo until I gave them super feed.

My original flock began laying between 19 and 22 weeks of age...end of February, beginning of March. I added two pullets this past summer, and one just began laying about two weeks ago at around THIRTY weeks of age. The other pullet laid maybe two eggs at around 24 weeks, then stopped and hasn't laid one since

I had much better luck with my fall chicks (for earlier laying) than summer chicks...
