How old when ready?

mother o' chicks72 :

I don't know about any of that but my baby bunny is maybe six weeks old and his poop looks ok so i shouldn't have to worry should I?

Many do fine when weaned earlier. Being careful with their diet at this time is especially important.

I hope this will help I have been told its good if their already weaned and are eating by them selves now but most people wait till there 6 weeks old and I think that's an good age for them to leave home so that they will bond better with their owners. Just to let you know its also good when selling them that they are tamed and tell the new owners the correct way to hold them which is not to hold them upside down like a baby its to place them on your chest and put on hand just under their bottom to support them and make sure tat their legs are supported because from what I have experienced with my rabbits they don't feel comfortable. Make sure the owners actually know how to take care of them and maybe let them play with the rabbits first with you supervising.

I hope this help you heaps

This is how you hold a rabbit or
and this is how you pick them up you place both you hands under their stomach and lift them up onto your chest
people have been holding rabbits like this the reason they stay so still is that their playing dead but if they flip back over it means that they trust you and if they lick your hand when you put it under their mouth then your part of the pack. Another way to test their trust is to place your hand on their back leg on the side and gently press on it if they lean on you than they trust you.

Not before 8 weeks.
Before I was a "experienced" bun owner, I had gotten a lil head when he was six weeks old, and he died suddenly, from lack of his mums milk. :(
