Sorry for just now logging back on. Keeping their room clean has been a full time job. I'm amazed by people who have ducks full time in their home.
Dewey is doing well. She finally stopped messing with her stomach but I worry she'll go back to picking at it when it starts to heal and become itchy. I'll look around and see what I can find at a pet store. Never would have thought to check there.
Since bringing them in both ducks have become very moody. Dewey rests her bill on the doggie gate that keeps them in their bedroom like she is begging to go outside. Louie on the other hand has been puffing out her chest and quacking mad at me when she sees me walk by. Lol.
They were use to coming into the house a few hours a day when the backyard lost all shade. Coop would also be to hot for them so bringing them in was just an easier option. But I feel like they'll never want to step inside my house ever again after this. Lol.
Also while I may have them both in the same room I have them separated just to make sure Louie doesn't pick at Dewey's stitches. I don't know if she would by I didn't want to risk it. It breaks my heart because they sleep bill to bill since that's the closest they can get.
