How soon to get eggs everyday

Hi from Maine! What breed(s) do you have? Some birds will start out with a bang, then take a break for a little while. Others lay their first egg then wait a while before laying again. My Olive Egger, Valerie, started laying recently and has been laying an egg just about every day. My Isa Brown, Tweety IV, is starting out pretty good, though not perfect. My EE, Twyla, isn't doing so great.
I'd say give the birds a good month to get started and eggs up to size. ;)

Good advice above, they are not machines, and some lay often, some not so often, and it is pretty much a genetic thing, feed does not make a difference. One of the reasons professional egg laying farms exist, is it really a rather up and down number of eggs over the year when you have them at home.
