nothing is going to work all of the time, you will have to change things up a bit. is she crying non stop or just fussing when she is hungry, wet etc... Are you feeding her enough?

I knew a person who did not think her baby needed more than 2 ounces of formula in one sitting. Her baby was always fussing. I kept telling her she was not feeding it enough and she thought I was crazy. Well the doctor finally told her when at the next visit the baby had not gained weight. So make sure you are feeding her enough and that she is not crying becasuse of hunger.

Also get a few Baby Einstein videos, these are very good for infants and help distract them a bit.

i sent a package the other day btw should be there today or tomorrow.

I did, but then one of the 5 was not a good sleeper
we took him for a car ride around the house.
it worked every time, or else he fell asleep beside me
...he nursed as he wished,
for the first 6 months then it was on the bottle.
and into his own bed.or the playpen where
he was in my sight all the time.

Dad of a previously similar infant chiming in here....my oldest, now 15, was very, very similar. By any chance have you asked your pediatrician about the possibility of reflux??!! It took us a while and may tests, but that was the ultimate problem for us. The acid burn in his stomach/throat was what was causing him to constantly cry and not sleep.

Might be worth asking the question.

I've been there....I remember the frustration all too well (waited 4 years to have a 2nd child). I truly hope you find a cause and some relief soon.

Sending up prayers on your behalf!!

Scott
