I have a general question about administering drugs to chickens. Mine are all on terramycin and I understand the standard dosage for the powder is 2 tsp per gallon, added to their water.
My question is how it is possible to give a standard dose to a bird through their water, when they drink various amounts each day and share their waterers. Isn't that haphazard? How does this work?
