How to bath a silky?

I have a little white adolescent silky and she looks more cream colored now. I heard you can wash them, but I don't know how to safely do so. So my question is how do you was them safely?

I honestly don't know. I always use baby shampoo. Hopefully somebody else will reply to answer that!

Mom says I should be able to use dawn dish soap.

I followed the instructions you provided,but I used dawn soap. The same stufescuers use on animals.
