And there's the perfect arguement for you dh...

(And it could also be used for poor little Bobbie, who ALSO wants to come home with you. What's two more?)

Ask them if Savannah would be okay with another adoptee.

And tell your DH that it will be good for the new cat to have a cat friend.
My cats are buddies. I brought Callie home from the Animal Shelter after many discussions with DH where he was leaning away from the idea of a second cat. He admits now that they're good together. They still love us, but they can love on each other when we're not home. And Jezebel is a MUCH happier at now that she has a pal.

You have such a compassionate heart. How could he say no when he sees how loving his wife is? You have two occasions, BD and VD coming up you can celebrate by loving a creature that is in need. You can give the gift of love...
Besides its a great lesson for the kids-ANYONE can take the cute baby animals, it takes a special person to give an older pet the respect and love it deserves when it is in need of a new home. Good Luck-you are awesome!!

Looking at their size, they look like they would do a great job keeping the couch from floating away. I not looking for a cat runs allover just a nice chubby cat or two that sits on the couch and rubs against my leg to let me know that the foodbowl is empty. I think that another good argumet about two seniors would be that we can get 2 fully vetted cats for only 20$. Miko cant scratch furnture up so thats a big plus too and Grandma could be fitted with Softpaws.
I will go down their after 5pm on my way to Wallyworld to check them out. I will take my camera along.

He better knows. I am willing to drag pretty much any injured animal home that wont eat me. I found my love for special needs animals after we had a three legged and a half blind cat on our farm . I thnk give me the room and I'd have a yard full of special needs poultry with a three legged guard dog.

Take the 'golden oldie' cat and don't look back!

We took two really old cats several years ago -- one died at the age of 19 and the other one is going strong at 22 years of age! Mostly sleeps, waits for treats and the daily brushing appointment -- sweet, sweet, sweet!

the 'Oldies' are the BEST -- you will never be sorry -- :)

Savannah is beautiful and looks to be a real 'lady' in spite of her hard life ---

'It's waaaay easier to ask forgiveness than to ask premission!'

You'll be setting such a super example of compassion for your children -- how could hubby resist that???!!!
