How to deal with dead chickens

Uhmm.......things die in the swamp all the time. Trust me, the carcass isn't there long enough to cause a problem. One of the many wild critters that live over there dines on it pretty quickly.

I'm thinking maybe when I say 'swamp,' you're picturing something like the Everglades or something, but there's more dry land in this particular swampy area. It's not like I'm tossing the dead bird into the water.

The recommendation for eliminating birds that die from sickness is by incineration or burying deep in the ground. Viruses find new hosts and find their way back to someone's farm. Some crows were recently found in our area with Newcastle virus. That has never been here before. Best to do what's right instead of argue about it.
