Dang those silkies and their fuzzy bodies. How old are they? Cockerels should start crowing around 4-6 months.

They're 5 mo old. I have a 1 ur old roo so if another started to crow I prob couldn't tell. But he's a hardy fellow and I'm sure the 5 mo olds crow would not be as loud.

I was wondering if you can help me sex my 3 Isbars the splash is. 22 weeks and the 2 nd and 3rd are 17 weeks.I know the splash is a pullets but the other 2 look like roosters but haven't made a peep please help this rookie.
Thanx in advance.

Thanx for your time.

Now I just need to find them a Good home.

yea that's what we need to do Is if we have roos too they can get soo aggressive yet I want to breed my chickens but I might use him once for breeding then get rid of him

Hello I am new to the forum and I am new to chickens until 4 to 5 months ago, and BTW I am totally in LOVE with them. I have a question about a Hen I think I still have, lol She is a Red, a Production Red if I am correct according to research I've done online. Recently she has been increasingly crowing like a rooster she is around 4 or 5 months now, she at 3 months old did some crowing its a funny sounding crow, lol...Anyways I have heard that some hens will crow at times, so I didn't think much about it after I heard that, but now I wonder, here are a few pictures..I think by the pictures of her with the Bantams its obvious who she is, lol except the last one she is the one in between the black Bantams...Thank you in Advance :)

In this one she is the one between the Black Bantams
