How to get chicks to eat fermented feed

I'm new to this and have some 2 day old chicks. I tried to give them some feed that was soaked overnight but they won't touch it. How do I get them to try it?

Have they eaten at all since you got them? Crumbles? You may have to start with a drier mix than what you have. Mine like it so that the spoon stands alone in it.

I'd tap a finger on the food you want to get them interested in as that's what a mother chicken would do - she would tap continuously with her beak until the babies started to try whatever food she had found.

I use my finger and softly "peck" the feed, the chicks got curious and started eating it up.

Yes they've eaten the crumble well, I made it very thick, they just wouldn't eat it at all.
