How to get chicks trust?

I have 5 almost 6 week old chicks. I can get them to eat out of my hand but they hate me picking them up. They are in their coop. Do you have any pointers on how to get them to let me hold them.

As prey animals, most fowl are reluctant to be held. Try approaching them on their level rather than from above. To chickens danger frequently comes from above.

I do approach them at their level. They ar in a raised coop. Is there anything else i can do

Some will never be happy being picked up no matter how much time you spend with them. The ones that will allow it, enjoy doing that with them, but if there's others that never come around to it, I'd let them be.
