It's mainly dirt with a little bit of sand particles. Sand, gravel, and other small pebbles can improve their digestion as well. That's why you'll see birds eating rocks. Helps with leafy substances. Also rocks can help file down their toe nails.

You can make a dust box for them. It can be a wooden box or a kitty litter tray. Then fill it with material to dust with. Here's a link to give you an idea. You can do a google search for more ideas.

ok.. its starting to be winter so i dont have much gravel at my place.. but i will dig some up. but i do have sand so i will use some too...
but you need to get the gravel sand and not sandbox sand right?
