I have three American Buff geese and 14 duck, mostly Welsh Harlequins. The geese insist on coming up to my grandmother's patio (she lives on the farm with us) and eating her flowers. These are geraniums, primroses, gerber daisies, roses, etc. Is there a way to keep the geese out of the flowers without sitting there and guarding them all day long? Thanks!

A properly trained dog will keep all the animals from a certain area.
Ours keep our gardens and patio free from all who are not invited.
No poultry poop on the patio ever.

What Miss Lydia said.

" Flowerz is tastee nummies!"
Not just nummies but also just fun to take apart too.

fencing is much simpler than months of supervised training of a dog to be trustworthy with your geese alone and to do the job you want.

Fence the flowers, or fence the geese?

My geese learned early on the art of "stepping" garden fence down and clambering over it.

My mom fenced the flowers. She used wire garden fencing similar to this, - its easy to move, and people can step over it, the geese, not so much.

We've also had to raise some plants off the ground so the geese can't reach them
