Hey guys, I know I'm starting another thread, but I couldn't seem to get the answer I was looking for in the last one. I've decided to start one specifically for this issue.
So, anyone who hasn't seen my other thread, I am trying to get the hang of my Little giant incubator, and have been running it for a week. I'm super excited to start incubating! Yay! I am having a humidity issue, though. I can't seem to keep it stable. I have a 1/4 cup measuring cup in there, since it has a rounded bottom, it fits in the egg tray well. When I have that in the bator, the humidity drops to low, when I add a wet paper towel or sponge, I will come back after an hour, and its at 60% humidity.
I can't seem to sleep, or go anywhere without coming back and having it at 25% or 60%. Any ideas? Its a forced air bator, I'm shooting for a humidity of 48%. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Surface area is what is needed to raise humidity. Closer to the heat source will also create more humidity. The depth of the water controls how long the water will last without having to refill.

You may even have to add more of the cups. Just remember or write down their location and how much each raises humidity.

Have you got a pic of what your doing there?

I can daintily get a pic, I will ge one arm upload it soon. I did read the info on surface area, that is why I picked the smaller cup, because I wanted it to hold humidity, not raise it. I went for a bigger cup, to see if tat helps.
I'll get a pic, thank you!
