How To Make a GIF Your Avatar???

I've seen some people on here with GIFs....put when i try to make one my avatar, it wouldn't work. So i resized it, put then it just made it into a picture, where it doesn't move. Just wondered if anyone on here knew what to do....

I had one a while back. I just downloaded it and set it as my avatar in the usual way. I did give one to someone tonight and they can get it to move. So I'm not sure if how it is down loaded or the platform your on makes a difference. I used the app. Saved to my album and uploaded from there.

I didnt do anything special, I just uploaded mine the same way you would a normal image. I tried other gifs before and they didnt work, it could just be that gif.

Large file sizes won’t work so if it has a lot of movement, the file size is probably too large.

You can use this site to resize, crop, etc to try to make it usable size.

Mine was a Video Gif mega big cant even I had to go in and edit the video... Wound up taking out every other frame then compressing it... then doing that over and over again. it wound up going black and white pixilated and I loved it that way.

Had to tweak it some more taking frames off here and there and compressing again.

Yay! I did it! I found a website and just resized it. I didn't know there were websites for GIFS! Thanks everyone!
