How to make my ex-bats healthier, quicker

Hiya everyone!
Some background:
I have three chickens who have been with me about 6 months and are settling in well, they are so much healthier than they were when we got them and doing great. But, how can i get them to grow more feathers, become more heavy, and have more red combs?
They are laying regularly and have faily red combs. They eat layers pellets and have grit, corn, things they find in the garden, porridge, scrambled eggs, mealworms, and grapes all regularly. They are around 2 and are healthy hens that lay.
Any response will be greatly appreciated!

Hello and welcome to BYC. I'd begin by feeding Growers feed and having optional oyster shell and cut out the treats completely

x2 on @Pork Pie Ken's response. Chickens are like people, they're more inclined to fill up on treats than solid nutrition if given the choice. Give them time and they'll be fine.

I'd stick with JUST a complete chicken feed and quit all treats.

X batt hens that have trimmed beaks will never have that polished look. They can't preen like a hen with a complete beak can. They also need to go through a hard moult and loose all the he damaged feathers.

I can not top the great advice you have already been given but I did just want to say Kudos to you for giving the girls a second chance at a good life in a loving home

Okay thankyou - all treats completely? Or can i still feeed them things high in protien?
