HOW to move chickens to their coop *PIC*

Yup, isn't it just amazing how attached we can get to them? And how adorable it is to see them roosting, all snuggled up next to each other.

I never understood people's attachment to certain animals. Specifically birds in general. I never owned any bid. not even a little pet shop bird. Then I fell in love with my friend's flock of chickens. I saw watching them for hours out her back door, inventing stories for the politics in the yard I saw. This spring I was happy to start my own flock, but worried it wouldn't work out as well. Now I regret not starting out with more than just 2. I should've just got a good handful to raise together until the next breed was available. I could've always found homes for the gals that were too much for me to keep at home. With just 2 I am not pushed to get the coop ready any time soon. The dog could care less that they are there, the cats are only mildly interested. They have free reign of our main bathroom and get hand fed treats everyday. They do train us don't they?!
