How to set this trap?

Maybe they’ll name the trapped cat Moony!

That looks good if you've seen her do that. (She doesn't have kittens under there, does she?)
I don’t think so, she’s hardly more than a kitten herself. And she does come out and roam around. But that’s a good point…how would I know?

My mom saw her roaming the yard about a week ago, then she moved in under the shed. She did not and does not look pregnant.

She did come out just now, looked around, saw the trap, and went back under the shed.

Shine a flashlight under the shed. I was asking because it looked like a good spot to have kittens. If she looks that young though, she probably doesn't have any.

Have you been feeding her anything? And daily? If so, put her food in the trap instead.

Is this a good place for it? The hole under the shed is where she comes in and out.

Thanks for the towel tip!
I wouldn't leave that cardboard on it, the bright colors and darkness in the middle of the trap will make it nervous. They don't like to eat if they don't have a clear view of their surroundings

I’ve seen 6-7 month old kittens have a litter ☹️

I covered it with a towel like @BigBlueHen53 suggested.

Should I remove all of it?

I see her eyes in the bushes. She came out from under the shed but she’s clearly suspicious.
