how to sex 1 week old chicks??????????????????

It's almost impossible to tell now, unless you look up their vent, and even experts sometimes get it wrong there. I think you may just have to wait a little while.

Your going to have to wait until they grow. Watch for reddening of the comb at around 4-6 weeks for males. Some you can't tell until they crow or lay an egg around 5 months of age.

One week to early to tell, grabbing by neck to see if feet dangle or tuck old tale..
after a few weeks most chicks the roos will have bigger feet and thicker legs.
Also in most of the breeds I've raised after a few weeks they begin to develop there tail feathers roos tail or shorter then the hens. Even though as mature chicks roos have longer tail. I have been pretty acurate with that of mine so far. But I'm sure you couldnt do that with all breeds.
