How to STEAM eggs?

I know this thread is old but I was trying to find info on steaming today. Can one just use one of those expandable steamer baskets? Does it matter if the eggs are stacked atop each other in it? I read the thread about boiling first and then adding eggs to the water but I feel like by the time I add the last egg the first one is half cooked and they won't all cook evenly.
