How to Tell a Fertile vs INfertile Egg (Pictures)

Fertile or not?
I'm thinking it is, but want other eyes to scope it out.

This is a 19 week olds first egg, 33 grams, she lives with a 20 week old cockerel...... tsktsk, kids these days!

Yep, it's fertile, but I advise to not try to hatch until they are adult.

No, I'm not planning on hatching anything at this time, tho this would be an interesting mix - Olive Egger with Welsummer roo, but yes I know not to incubate a pullet egg.

I was just amazed that it was fertile with such young birds, didn't think he was completing his clumsy deeds.

Ate that egg for dinner last night, saved the olive shell, more of the story here.

I have a chicken which I suspect is actually a rooster. I cracked an egg recently and wondering if it's a fertile egg therefore confirming I do have a rooster (not crowing) in our flock. Can someone with an expert eye confirm or not. Thanks!

Just for future reference, some eggs can have a pseudo-fertile appearance and fool you, though. If you don't see a defined, thin ring around the blastodisc, it may not be fertile at all. Some cloudy areas can be deceiving. If you post pictures on a What Breed or Gender? thread, folks can tell you if there is a male in your henhouse. The egg seems to be fertile, but I can't make a 100% sure call on that one.

aart's egg is most definitely fertile.

ETA: photographing egg yolks can be so difficult due to the glare, can't it? BUT, excellent photo, aart!
