Our Light Brahma roo had a very red, very developed comb at four weeks, and he went around challenging everyone else (50 other chicks). At seven weeks, he crowed. Seeing a seven-week old crow is too cute!! Our Speckled Sussex roo also had a much more red, developed comb by about five weeks.
